From Dec 2014 until Jan 2015 Cheetham Garam Indonesia has partisipated in educational activities in conjuction with the Salt Community Technology Academy of Nagekeo (Akademi Komunitas Teknologi Garam Nagekeo) , Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara. There are a total 30 students and 3 tutor and participants are educated on the scientific elements of the salt production process both in theory and practise across the factory and lab.
Salt Technology Community Academy of Nagekeo was hoping that this will be an ongoing activity and Cheetham Garam Indonesia is willing to continue to provide the information needed that will enhance community awareness on salt in Indonesia.
